Albert Ward Eaton began his career in new car sales, with a Studebaker Dealership in Traverse City. During the War, metal was unavailable for cars like Studebakers, and sales were slow. So, in 1968, Albert purchased the Tow Truck Department (started in 1948) from Rennie Oil Company and renamed it Ward Eaton Towing. Since new cars were in short supply, business flourished, and the small fleet grew rapidly.
Four generations later, we are still a local, family-owned business, proudly serving the Traverse City, and the surrounding area, with caring and talented drivers. There is no ditch too deep, or hill too steep, to prevent recovery of your vehicle. From simple “lock-outs” and “no-starts” to complex recovery from collisions and weather-related incidents,
